To ensure that you feel secure, we would like to inform you about how we handle your personal Data (“Data”) in connectipn with our order services for the sale of products in our web stores we are operating with the support of our e-commerce partner “Global-e”. We process your Data in accordance with the applicable data protection laws.
1. Access to LLOYD websites
When accessing LLOYD websites, your browser will automatically transfer Data for technical reasons. The following Data will be stored separately by LLOYD from other Data that you may transfer to LLOYD:
- The date and time of access
- Browser type/version
- Operating system used
- URL of the website previously visited
- IP address, minus the final three numbers
This Data will only be stored for technical reasons and will at no time be assigned to a specific person.
2. Purchase of goods or provision of services
If you request that we provide a service or dispatch goods, your Data will be used without your explicit consent only to the extent that is necessary in order to provide this service or perform the contract. This includes, in particular, forwarding your Data to transport companies, credit companies and / or payment services providers.
Once the order has been completed, your Data will be blocked for further use and deleted on expiry of the statutory retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use.
By placing an order in this online store you agree that we will collect, use or disclose your Information only in accordance with the terms of this policy as well as following the terms of the Global-E privacy policy.
If you do not wish us or Global-E to collect your Information, please do not submit it to us. However, please bear in mind that we or Global-E will not be able to process your order or be limited in performing all or part of our Services without receiving your details.

3. Embedded videos and images from external internet sites
On some subpages, we have embedded YouTube videos in “extended data protection mode”. When you retrieve these sites, a connection is made to YouTube and the DoubleClick network. A click on a video then triggers further data processing procedures over which we have no further influence. For technical reasons, your IP address is transferred to YouTube when you visit sites that have incorporated YouTube videos. This information is not stored by YouTube.
We have also incorporated Instagram videos on several subpages. For technical reasons, your IP address is transferred to Instagram when you visit sites that have incorporated videos.
4. Access-limited area
If you wish to use the B2B platform, you need to register first. You can change or delete your profile within your account at any time. The Data will then automatically be removed from our system.
5. Online applications
You determine the scope of the Data which you wish to communicate to us during your online application process. Online applications are transferred to our HR department in an encrypted manner.
We only process the Data which you disclose to us during your online application for the purpose of selecting applicants. The Data is not processed for any other purpose. If we wish to consider your application in relation to other and/or future job advertisements, we will request your consent to do so in a corresponding note on your application. Otherwise we will delete the Data disclosed during your online application at the latest 6 months after we have rejected your application. We do not delete your name in order to detect multiple applications.
6. Contact form
You have the option of contacting us with your questions via our contact form. Data is submitted only on a voluntary basis. The Data entered is treated confidentially and used for the intended purpose according to the respective applicable data protection laws. The Data is not forwarded to third parties outside of our company.
7. Use of cookies
The website www.lloyd.com uses cookies. We use cookies to ensure that our services function properly and in order to show targeted and relevant advertisement on a range of websites in the internet and social media, based on Data collected by means of cookies. With the cookies used, we also measure and analyse the validity and reach of our advertisement so that we can enhance and refine our marketing strategy. 8. Data recipients
We process your Data only within the European Economic Area (EEA) and do not transfer any Data to service providers outside the EEA.
For some activities we use external service providers. We transfer your Data to such service providers to enable them to provide the services for us. Naturally, you have the right to receive information about the Data relating to you as an individual which is stored by LLOYD. You also have the right to request correction of incorrect Data. In some circumstances, you have the right to obtain from us the erasure of the Data concerning you, restriction of processing and to Data portability.
If the processing is based on our legitimate interest, you have the right to object at any time to processing of your Data on grounds relating to your particular situation. If you have given your consent to the processing of your Data, you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before your withdrawal.
